Hi people!Because, in the north of Chile, we had a good time, "Los Fenix" have a part of the partys of the old school calameño. Borned with the copper, in Chuquicamata, the two virtuous guitars of Ricardo Pérez Montalvo and Rubén Sapiaín and the voice of Hernán Romero, the "Petrera" made the new style of the cumbia in those times.
The larger groups as "Los Viking 5", "La Sonora de Tommy Rey" and "Los Cumaná" have influence of "Los Fenix". In the origins of the group, "Los Fenix" make music with diferents styles like rock, tango, bolero, and cumbia but the particular use of the guitar gives their them personality. "Los Fenix" appeared in Bolivian and Peruvian carnivals in the cusp of his artistic career.
They were very famous in the Loa province and on the border of bolivia but with the time, they began to distance themselves.
"Los Fenix" have six albums, standing out "Los Fenix Vol. I"
In my partys the song "Mi guitarra tropical" is played after the 3 am.
